The Chemex is a minimalistic, easy to use, paper-filter brewing device. It is made from non-porous borosilicate glass. This means that it brews coffee without imparting any flavours of its own, creating a deliciously clean cup of coffee. It was invented in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm and is on permanent display at MOMA New York and other museums. A real work of art.
