why we are taking a break from evenings
money obviously; we are in business so as to not go out of business
we were busy some nights and not others. this was not the problem. it is the times at which we were busy
as a trader you see the flow of people, cars, and footfall on the streets and get a sense of things
my fear when opening evenings was that there was not enough of a city population to drive business between 16.30 to 19.30 and my fear was realised
is summer the best time to start

could we work harder
could we market more
could we do a launch
hire PR, pay for advertising
of course
and then wait another month or two to see if this works. but spending a lot extra a week on wages to wait and see is a risk we cannot take at this time.
there is no roadmap in business. we are making it up as we go along.
will we try again? yes. we never give up on our dreams
